When our freezer was delivered I was pleased to find out it came with casters. Since it is in our garage keeping it off the floor was important to me.After it was plugged in the delivery man set it at half and told me how to adjust it if we wanted it colder. After three hours I put a thermometer inside. When I checked it an hour later it was already down to 0 degrees. Very pleased on how fast it cooled.

This freezer has more capacity than I originally thought it would. The shelving makes access to food easy and allows for FIFO organization. The freezer is easy to roll to access behind, but locking wheels secures it in place. We are considering purchasing another one just like it for a different location. I would definitely recommend this freezer.

Overall the freezer seems to be working well and the appearance looks good. It is virtually silent when it's on. The only issues I had (which were minor to me): even with the protective packaging on the bottom, there was gouging in the bottom insulation panel that appears to have probably happened at the factory due to the fact that the packaging didn't appear to be damaged. Also, one of the screws for the casters was deformed and didn't have the cross tip pattern in it, so it needs to be replaced.

My new Frigidaire Chest Freezer

I was so excited when they delivered my new freezer. My old one died and I had food stores in many family members freezers. I was surprised though that the freezer was on the truck standing as if it were an upright. The delivery people unboxed it and put it in place and started to plug it in. I told him to wait and asked him if it was ok to plug in. I had been told by a refrigeration person that if you don™€™t let the freezer stand for 24 hours before plugging it in after it has been tilted upright on the compressor end that the compressor could become damaged. The delivery guy said no and that it was fine; however, I told him I didn™€™t want it plugged in yet. I called Home Depot and they couldn™€™t really tell me and told me to be safe to not plug it in for 24 hours if I was concerned. While I wish I could get everything back in my new freezer, I am waiting. The freezer is beautiful and I love the features of being able to put wheels on it to move it around easily. It is about the same size as my precious one that lasted about 28 years or so. I™€™m hoping this one does the same!

Freezer comes with wheels that lock, we keep it in the garage so it's easy to move it to allow cleaning behind it even if full. Works great so far, quiet, love the light on the lid inside so we can see what we are looking for. Also the light on the outside gives peace of mind that it's running, as I said, so quiet.

I like my new freezer very well. It replaces my old freezer which is a 30 year old Frigidaire. It was still cooling after 30 years but the thermostat broke. The new freezer is the same capacity as my old one but the dimensions are different. The new freezer is 7 inches longer, a few inches shorter, and a few inches narrower. My wife likes it being shorter as she can reach the bottom easier. The LED lighting really illuminates the interior very well. To top it off, the price was a lot cheaper than a Whirlpool freezer and has better reviews than Whirlpool and the interior is white instead of grey.

I love this 14.8 cu. ft. freezer, it is perfect for the 2 or us and I still have more space than I need. I can fill the 2 baskets and still have room to slide them back and forth and see what is in the middle and sides under the baskets. Love this freezer.

We live in Florida and have been in triple digits for the past couple months. The freezer is in our garage which is well ventilated, however, can get pretty warm. This freezer is well insulated and does not run much. We purchased the smallest chest freezer and I was amazed at the amount of space. Much more than my large standing freezer.

I love our new freezer. It has plenty of space for our needs. It was narrow enough at 29 9/16 inches to fit down into our basement using our steps. I love the green light showing that there is power to freezer on the outside of the freezer and the LED lighting inside. It uses less energy, then our older freezer and it is not as hard to reach into to get things out of it at the bottom. Our old 25 year old Frigidaire freezer was starting to show it age and making noises and the refrigerant R134A was banned in the US beginning on Jan 2024 which is what it used. The cost to fix it was more, then buying a new freezer.

I originally bought this freezer as a backup for a commercial double wide upright freezer that I've had for a year and a half. It has a problem with the defrost drain tube freezing solid about every 3 months, so I have to empty it and thaw it out. So now we will keep most of our frozen food in the Frigidaire. It is very reliable and it is does extremely well on keeping a constant temperature. So far, it has been very reliable. I also have a Frigidaire refrigerator that I've had for around 10 years with no problems.
